I’m the front-end developer on the eMonocot project. I’m interested in building clean and usable web applications.
In addition to software engineering using the latest technologies and standards, I also enjoy the design element of web site development; aesthetics, usability and accessibility being paramount in the successful execution of such projects. My experience in user engagement has been derived from working with research scientists in different areas.
After my studies in Italy (Politectico di Milano), and a collaboration with the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research, I moved in Cambridge for an internship at the European Bioinformatic Institute. I then moved to Oxford where I worked at the OeRC on the Biosharing project before joining the eMonocot project.
